Hey y’all, so does anyone work at Stellantis or does anyone have information if the EcoDiesel will ever come back and make its way into the new RamCharger or would it be possible to swap in the EcoDiesel disregard price seeing as the Pentastar is also a V6 just like the eco-diesel on the Stock ECU, if anyone has any information it be gladly appreciated, Thank you
 
Unlikely to come back. They had so many issues with the Eco-Diesel, that they discontinued it. The 3.6 Penestar is perfect for the application of acting as generator given the power requirements.
 
I had a Jeep with the Eco Diesel and I loved it. The torque was awesome and I never had any issues with it.

I ended up selling it for a Jeep 392. The only issue I ran into was both batteries went out pretty quickly. I found out that once both batteries go out you can't even completely shut the car down, it'll stick in some limbo mode where it's stuck trying to start. I couldn't even trickle charge it or jump it. Had to get it towed to my friends shop and have both batteries replaced.
 
Yeah.. the batteries suck.. especially with that Aux battery. I guess there are a couple of issues with the 392.. i'm sure you are aware already... but just in case y9u're not.
